The Business Development [AUDITION] is a new, experimental role at Pretio.
Weâre looking for a self-determined, entrepreneurial person, willing to âwade in.â More specifically, weâre looking for someone to come in as a paid, part time consultant, who can put in at least 20 hours a month to learn how to drive growth for Pretio Interactive through successful prospecting, sales and strategic account management.
This is an opportunity for a self-starter to test themselves working with a new team and business, learn the ropes, and then begin to make their mark. Our vision for Auditioning roles, is that weâre looking for a diamond in the rough, someone who once given the opportunity, earns a full time role by learning quickly and quite independently, ultimately helping accelerate the growth of the company. Someone who understands that poor results after a few months will require we end the trial.
Business Development at Pretio is responsible for proactive prospective client outreach, follow up, and establishment of new relationships, primarily with advertising and occasionally publishing partners. Accelerating profit generation is how youâll be measured. The BDM keeps all team stakeholders updated regarding partner relationships as necessary.
- Research, identify, and process potential leads and new partners plus steward existing opportunities towards optimal outcomes. Your focus, creativity and skills will enable our internal traffic team to focus on and drive growth.
- Establish relationships with new partners and clients that fosters shared success, trust, and opportunities for future business together.
- Keep records of Company and Personal/Employee contact information of partners, Demand and Supply Side IOs/MSAs, Credit References, Terms & Conditions, Banking Information, Company Information, Business Tools (Platforms, SSPs, Direct relationships, Brand Safety Tools, etc.) Leads, and Pipeline Onboarding process, data concerning direct and O&O lists.
- Review and revise IOs on both Supply and Demand Side to ensure efficient business relationships that are as low risk as possible, while still offering opportunities for growth. - Deliver market and partner feedback internally to the video team.
At least a rudimentary understanding of the mobile ecosystem, and performance marketing. Youâll need to already understand what things like these are, so youâve probably already at least dabbled in affiliate marketing:
âClick-throughâ and âview-throughâ conversions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including PowerPoint or the like
Proficiency with modern online communication tools (email, slack & social)
Solid math and Excel skills
Experience with modern CRM systems a plus.
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent preferred
